This is a documentary project about the life of older people in the historical part of Beijing called Hutong.
The history of the Hutong begins in the 18th century, these are narrow streets on which houses in the traditional Chinese style are built.
Modern construction more and more absorbs this historical part of the city, so the original hutongs remain fewer and fewer every year.
People of different classes live here, with different destinies, united by common interests and joint activities.
